We collect the following types of information to provide our travel planning services:

  • Account Information: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials.
  • Trip Data: Trip titles, dates, destinations, events, notes, and costs.
  • User Content: Photos, images, and documents (PDFs, tickets) you upload to trips.
  • Device Information: Basic device details for analytics and debugging.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
  • Sync your trips across devices.
  • Enable sharing of trips with other users you invite.
  • Facilitate the "Community Trips" marketplace if you choose to publish a trip.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data, including uploaded files and images, is stored securely on servers provided by Supabase (hosted on AWS). We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
  • Access Control: Row Level Security (RLS) ensures only you and users you explicitly share trips with can access your data.

5. Document & File Privacy

When you upload documents (e.g., tickets, reservations):

  • These files are private by default.
  • They are accessible only by you and the specific users you have shared the trip with.
  • We (the app operators) do not access your files unless explicitly requested by you for support purposes.
  • Important: If you "Publish" a trip to the Community, ensure you remove any personal documents or sensitive information first.

6. Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your data at any time.

  • You can delete individual events, files, or entire trips within the app.
  • You can delete your entire account via Settings > Delete Account. This action permanently removes all your data, including photos and documents, from our servers.
